Squares on tilt (2010)Installation at Bærum kulturhus, April 2010 |

Squares on tilt was a site specific installation made for the multi purpose room at The Bærum center of culture. This room has a very particular pattern of tilted squares made up of small square-shaped perforations in the wall. I made a series of drawings based on these, where I sketched the pattern from memory over and over with a digital pen, using slightly different methods for each one. The prints were made up of 10-24 semi-transparent sketches put on top of each other. Installed about 20 cm out from the wall, each of them covered one of the “portrayed” squares.
On the ground floor I exhibited a selection of ink drawings. See Escape routes
