Proposals for a flat earth (2003)

1) A world with Oslo as the centre
Two drawings shown at “Inverse” at Gallery 21-25, Oslo, February 2003 ( an exhibition initiated by Tomas Ramberg and Megan Dyer), And “New rooms” at The Bath (Hausmania), Oslo, February, 2003.
This is an appendix to the drawing-biennial project, where travel-routes are omitted, leaving the maps themselves to be the subject. They are mathematically correct point-projections, but point-projections are only (truly) accurate at the central point, and useful for a map within a limited area, such as Polar Regions. Towards the edges the proportions become totally out of order. An almost new geography is thus created. The two maps are antipodes to each other.
