From the lighthouses. Detail. The drawings are based on Icelands position between the continents: from the South coast there is a straight line across the seas, uninterupted by land, all the way to Antarctica. I illustrated this by playing around with scales and navigation sign from maritime maps. In the corners of the maps there are close ups of key locations from the narrative of my project Sounds of silver echoing.
