(Prototype for) deck of standard size playing cards and spiral bound booklet, vitrine.

 

After a residency in Iceland I got the idea for an illustrated deck of cards that tied together fragments of narratives from Iceland, Norway and South Georgia. When I were invited to a show Iin Ypsilanti (Detroit) about Iceland, the deck was not finished. I presented a prototype of it as an installation in a vitrine, together with a series of map-drawings emphasizing the Iceland-connection.
