The Water Tower (Second Sweep). (2017)
A half an hour-long travelogue from a boat on its way through a dead, flooded forest. The Narrator is part environmentalist, part disaster tourist, part mystic, and regularily slips into associative detours. The voyage follows a search pattern, but the goals for the search are unclear and shifting. The purpose is partly explained through the voyager's running commentary track, which occasionally is intercepted by song vignettes performed by the band Omo Sapiens.
The Water Tower was shown at the exhibition Floresta Submersa, at Tenthaus Oslo, together with two series of drawings. They can all be seen as attempts to explore and «decode» the controversial Brazilian water reservoir Lago Balbina - as a location, as a scene, or as a kind of psychic mirror.
